My role
As a digital designer at Babbel I was responsible for a range of design projects, including improving the index page and other webpages, creating ads, and working on small and large branding projects. As the single digital designer within the marketing team I was collaborating with product designers to ensure consistency between product and brand experiences. As a member of cross-functional teams, I helped solve design challenges and ensured our projects met customer demands and company goals.

During my time at Babbel, I took a lead role in a project to improve the index page experience. This included gathering and analyzing data, ideating solutions, and redesigning the page in Figma. The redesign included new trust elements, information on courses and prices, and addressed UX issues. I worked closely with the brand strategist and a UX writer to ensure the redesign visually stayed close to the product and showed diversity. The redesign was tested with a sample size of 519,000 visitors and resulted in a significant +7% uplift in the first step of the funnel, considered an improvement.
